Rebels Netball Club was established in 1975 by GNA Life Member and highly regarded netball contributor, Marion Van Munster. The focus of Rebels Netball Club has always been about like minded passionate netball players in a family and friends environment.
Long standing founding members of Rebels retired from the A2 division at Gosford Netball Association following a premiership win in 2006. For the first time since 1975, Rebels did not appear in the fixture for the 2007 or 2008 season.
At the initiation of Marion, Rebels returned to GNA in 2009 mixing a combination of long-term Rebels (including 3 daughters of the founding team) and young up and coming netball players from the Gosford Netball Association.
Rebels teams, in both junior and senior competitions, have enjoyed a high profile position at Gosford. Our Division 1 team has featured in the grand final games since 2009 taking out 5 division 1 premierships.
